Electrics, plumbing and odd jobs

Everything here comes from what reviewers have had Norman do. If your job isn't listed, ring and ask.

Got a few things to sort? Put them on one list, room by room, and send it to Norman in one go.

Make Norman's list

Good to know

Do you really do electrics, plumbing and odd jobs?

Yes. That's what the business name says, and reviews cover all three: sockets, lights and fuse boxes, leaky taps, showers and radiators, and floorboards, shelves, TV brackets and locks. If you have a few things, put them on one list so Norman can plan the visit.

Can you come today?

Ring and ask. Several reviewers describe Norman arriving within the hour or on the same day for an electrical fault, but that depends on what he's already booked.

How much will it cost?

Every job is different, so ring or send your list and Norman will talk it through. Several reviewers mention very reasonable prices and good value.

The power has gone off. Who do I call?

If it's just your home, check whether a switch has tripped in the fuse box, then ring Norman. If the street is off too, it's a power cut: call 105, the free national power cut line.

I can smell gas. What should I do?

Call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 straight away. It's free and open 24 hours. Open windows and don't use switches or naked flames.

When can I reach you?

Google lists Norman as open 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday. Call or text 07923 994434.

One call for the lot. Norman answers.

The light that flickers, the tap that drips and the shelf that never went up. Ring, text, or put it all on one list first.
